About

Hi, I’m Lewis Webb. I’m a social media PR consultant at Ketchum Pleon. I’ve been working in digital PR since 2002, and have dealt with a wide variety of companies and brands, from uber-techy startups to household brand names. Having said that, social PRobiotic is my own personal blog and while I will republish blog posts written for Ketchum, the thoughts and opinions expressed on this blog do not necessarily reflect those of my employer or clients.

The definition of probiotics – according to the World Health Organisation – is: ‘Live microorganisms which when administered in adequate amounts confer a health benefit on the host.’ Of course we are more familiar with them in the form of yoghurts or daily drinks packed full of lactobacillus casei and other friendly bacteria. While I can’t promise a daily shot of goodness to help with your social media digestion, this blog is a forum for regularly airing my thoughts (and hearing yours) on the major developments in new and emerging media.
