So it had to be done – having a blog is one thing, but I’ve been hugely late at getting it onto my own domain. So I decided to finally make the move and register lewiswebb.com as my own little home on the internetz. It’s not the finished article at the moment, there are some pages that don’t really make sense on here, and there are some videos that haven’t been imported particularly well. However, there are some cool things I’m quite keen on using more.
First off, I’ve narrowed down my blog into four areas: Lifestyle, Media, News and the Shoreditch Twit. This means that I have some direction on what I want to write about. So Lifestyle will include music, films, fashion and entertainment; Media will be thoughts on old and new media and technologies, News might contain thoughts on world events and politics, and the last one is pretty self-explanatory.
What this means is that I need content to write about, so while I’m more than happy to go off and find my own stories, I’m very grateful to people who consider my little blog to be worth their time and effort in letting me know what they are up to.
I’ve also added a little video module in the footer – while I don’t create that much video, this is a Vimeo widget that simply lists my favourite stuff on there. Please do send me any links of clips that you think I might like.
Finally, one thing that will stay the same is the random pictures which have no apparent connection to the blog post – this one’s kind of easyI think, so stick your answers in the comments as usual, as well as any other comments you have about the new site.

Garbage have an album called 2.0
I rock.
Yes – well done, but like I said, I think that was an easy one.
Fine then. Give me a hard one next time.
(I’ve said that before…)
Lovely!!! Well done
Nice shiny new blog Lewis – very well done!
Darn. Why do you always have a better blog than me? I tried, and have so far, failed miserably to make mine look pretty. Consoling myself with the thought that a) nobody reads me b) if they do it’s via RSS.
Great new look!
Loving the new look Lewis. Very sharp!
Looking forward to coming to my first Shoreditch Twit soon!
